Call for Submissions: IWAC’s First Quarterly Newsletter

IWAC is excited to announce our first quarterly newsletter, to be released later this year. 

In line with our first quarterly talk (also coming up in the coming months – stay tuned!) and the programming of the United Nations, we’ve curated a list of topics in which you are invited to submit your work for a chance to be highlighted in our newsletter.

The topics are as follows:

• The Funding Crisis in Women and Development

• Women in Rural Spaces

• The Care Economy & Healthcare

• Women & Education

• Women & Political Solidarity

Submission guidelines are as follows:

• We are accepting submissions in a range of media, including, but not limited to:

  • Visual media (e.g. paintings, photography, etc.)

  • Written pieces, including ongoing research, opinion pieces, blog posts, and personal musings

  • Additional forms of media will be considered. Reach out to hello@iwacwomen.org for further inquiries.

• Written pieces are not to exceed 1000 words

• Academic pieces are encouraged to include bibliographies

The deadline for submissions is November 30^th, 2025, with publication set for December 11^th. Extensions may be granted.
